The residence investigated is occupied by an 82 year-old woman who is hard of hearing. The property borders a creek and has been in the family since the 1800's. Other family members living on the land also report accounts of activity in their homes. We did discover that on the property in the 1800's there was a turpentine still, a sawmill, and slave shanties. There was also a store in later years.

Team members present had a couple unexplained experiences.

On our first investigation we covered both the home and the land surrounding it. The outside temp dropped into the high 30's. The night was clear but cold. No wind. We started out with a team of 2 in the house. There was another team of two at base watching monitors. And two teams of 2 covered the land.

All base readings were normal. We photographed the entire house because of the reports of things falling and moving.
As we were setting up the screen door which was wide opened suddenly slammed. The bottom of the door scrubs on the floor and it takes some force to shut it. Immediately after, the two photos on the top left were taken.

About two hours into our investigation Mike, one of the two team members inside reported smelling a strong order of smoke that went past him.

Sounds (banging etc.)
Things falling
Sighting of a hazy half apparition
Sounds of voices
Bathroom towels scattered and pulled from wall.
Toilet cover off and across room.
Cold spots
Lights turning on and off
Door closing and shaking
Sighting of a purplish ray of light

THe Holly EVP - Wave form Video

Several minutes later Holly smelled a strong order of smoke to her right. Then she began experiencing seeing smoke billowing toward her... Think of someone puffing on a cigar and blowing it in your face. It got so bad at one point that she was actually trying to wave it away with her hand.

Next, Mike and Holly entered the bedroom where the client used to sleep but moved out of the room due to the things she had experienced in there. For awhile, nothing out of the ordinary happened. Then after being in the bedroom for awhile, and all within a short period of time, Holly saw a large pulse of light next to her, then her EMF spiked twice, a shadow was seen on the monitor next to her. Then a few minutes later, she asked if someone had entered the room with them, then the smoke she had seen earlier appeared again and she became very uncomfortable. During this time, an evp was caught with a male voice calling the name, "Holly" So far, everything is matching up.

Note: The shadow seen on the monitor did not show on film.
