Evps: these recordings were captured over many months, and using several recorders.
Reported activity:

The present owner reported seeing an apparition of a woman in the upstairs DJ booth area. Previous owners reported that during the night, chairs end up on the floor after being put up the night before. The recent owner apparently was locked out of the office room after she went to use the bathroom. On another occasion, patrons starting screaming vulgar words towards the ghost, when as soon as they where done the lights and sound just cut off for a minute and a cold chill ran through the room.

Research Notes:

In 1997, this house was known as the Bell House Bed and Breakfast. The co-owner (J. Griffin) said it was named after Dr. David S. Bell who died in 1964.  Her staff had walked out because they refused to work where they were too scared. There had been reports of dogs barking, indentations on made up beds, unexplained opened blinds, and strange feelings. She also said that she had received mail sent to David Bell (who had died 33 years previously).

Dr. David S. Bell had come to Valdosta as a young boy with his parents and died on Jan. 6, 1964, and his body was placed in the house for two days awaiting his funeral. Dr. Bell had sold medicinal supplies. One product was called
Re-Nue-U and Bell (who was a traveling salesman) often said, when you are gone, it will bring you back.

The obituary of David S. Bell states, David S. Bell died at the age of 70  After he was a medical supplies salesman, he worked in real estate. He was a big player in Valdosta politics. He was known as the Valdosta Town Crier. He was also referred to as the
biggest optimist. His body rested at his home at 500 N. Ashley for two days until his burial.  He was survived by his wife and four sisters.

We were not able to find any mention of  a James Bell or the suicide at this location.

Investigation Notes:

One claim we were able to more or less debunk was hearing a dog barking. While on the investigation, we clearly heard a dog barking.  It was a dog outside in the neighborhood.

One of the investigators did experience a cold spot upstairs near the DJ booth and an evp was picked up at the same time.

The feelings of being watched upstairs can most likely be explained. There are several very large speakers and equipment for the DJ booth and the stage where bands play, all in a fairly small space.

We did not catch any anomalous photos or video. We did however capture a couple good evps.
