The stately structure known as the Ashley-Slater House has been restored and designated as one of Georgia's Local Welcome Centers. Rich in history, the house has been brought back to its original grandeur.
The stately structure known as the Ashley-Slater House has been restored and designated as one of Georgia's Local Welcome Centers. Rich in history, the house has been brought back to its original grandeur.
Evps: these recordings were captured over several visits, and using several recorders.
John Ashley built the house for his wife Ada in the 1800's. They had one child who died when he was 22 months old. Right after this, John Ashley cursed God for taking his only child, then fell to the ground with a stroke and died 4 days later.
Ada then married, John Slater who hung himself in the homes attic when he was 38. Ada continued to live in the house until she was 92 then died in her bed of natural causes in the 1970's.
After this, others lived in the home, but we have not been able to verify any other deaths in the home. Reports of smelling cigarette smoke in Ada’s old bedroom. Machines turning on by themselves, feeling watched, and people feeling as if they were being pushed down the stairs. During the two investigations we did, several anomalies as well as evps were captured.
