Established in 2003 by founder, Holly, a long-time paranormal investigator, the Southern Ghost Hunters of South Georgia is a non-profit, paranormal investigation and research organization committed to the discovery and study of paranormal phenomena through the use of scientific, psychological, and psychic resources. We do so with integrity, honesty, and discretion.
Even though the name suggest otherwise, we are paranormal investigators and researchers. Our job is to investigate and report our findings, to help the client in understanding, and if at all possible, to help the spirits in the process. Even though our group believes in the existence of ghost, if there is a rational explanation for what we experience, we will certainly try to find it.
Helping people with unanswered questions, strange occurrences, and unexplained events in their life is one of the main reasons SGH was founded. We understand that calling a team to investigate your home or property is not an easy decision. We truly understand the fear and seriousness of each situation. We respect you, your property, and your privacy. We feel that all locations deserves the same amount of care and respect. SGH will not discuss a private case outside of the team members without written permission.

The SGH team are all normal people, with regular lives. Most of us have had our own experiences that have drawn us into this field. We are a diverse group of individuals who all have one thing in common; we all have different skills, and we want to give those who are experiencing phenomena our help in determining what may be occurring. Our members have a wide variety of backgrounds including; novelist, law enforcement officers, biologist, former military, professor, and business owners. We take the paranormal seriously and are not a group of thrill seekers.
